Combine this with Aojie’s Superior hydrophobic & oleophobic technology and a complete set of high-precision testing and the result is an anti-fog lens effect that is highly stable and long-lasting.

Aojie utilizes technologically advanced vacuum coating equipment using imported environment-friendly materials with different refractive indexes. These are subjected to ion interference and vaporized, forming a uniform film.

By applying a coating on the lens surface, various effects, and functions such as optical performance enhancement & surface protection, can be achieved based on the specific needs of the customer. Plus, it creates an awesome overall look for the frames or goggles.

Water & Oil Resistant Coatings

Coating technology that enhances the surface smoothness and increases the surface tension of the lens. Making water, oil, and other liquids that fall onto the surface of the lens shrink into beads. Thus, greatly reducing the friction with the lens’ surface, causing an automatically slide or “running beads” effect on the lens.

REVO Coatings

Multi-color coatings that reflect harmful light from the front of the lens through the high- density REVO film on the lens surface. Also, REVO creates a colorful and beautiful lens.

The mirror coatings do not change anything optically and/or visually from the base tint lens. The lens coatings are about reflecting and decreasing light from the outside. Simply put, the base color tints are the science behind the lens and the mirror coatings are the fashion aspect of the lens with some added function. 

  • Optical performance such as spherical & astigmatic power is affected by the lens mold, not by color.
  • Revo coatings don’t affect the optical performance of the lens, but they can affect the color that you see through the lens. 

The Brighter it is outside = LOWER VLT% needed
The Darker/Overcast it is outside = HIGHER VLT% needed

For all your waterfront needs! These coated lenses are tested using real seawater for 48-72 hours, making sure that the seawater does not penetrate to coating and affect the lenses. Allowing you to constantly enjoy experiences on the water without having to worry about the harmful effects of salt water on your lenses.

Hard Coating

Also called strength coating, has characteristics of high hardness, high adhesive force, and high transmittance. All of these combined creates an abrasion (scratch) resistance lens, while increasing the lifespan of the lens.
