In the early nineties, Mr. Ricky Wu got his start in the manufacturing business in a small family-run company. There, he was introduced to the process of manufacturing lens molds. The company only had ONE CNC machine at the time, so Mr. Wu polished the molds by hand. This knowledge and experience laid the foundation for this engineering-minded, hardworking, and talented hand-craftsman to start his own company.

Aojie was founded in 2007. Mr. Wu’s dedication to having his company propel into the forefront of lens manufacturing took him far and wide. His discussions with brand and chain stores helped further elucidate the needs and directions of the market. 

Aojie is known for having the most technologically advanced machines, equipment, and devices to continue to push the envelope forward as a top global player in lens manufacturing.

Of equal importance, Mr. Wu values the people that help Aojie run. This is why he invests just as heavily in his team of people as he does in his cutting-edge technology.
